The Victorian government has recently introduced new tenant safety inspections aimed at ensuring the safety of renters in the state. The inspections will focus on gas, electrical, and smoke alarm compliance in rental properties. Landlords and property owners will be required to meet specific standards for gas appliances, electrical wiring, and smoke alarms. The inspections will help to identify any potential hazards and ensure that renters have safe and secure living spaces. The new laws are an important step towards improving the safety and wellbeing of renters in Victoria and are enforced by the government.
The Smoke Alarm Inspection will be conducted once annually and will include a battery check and replacement if required and ensuring smoke alarm operates correctly within its 10yr manufacturing operating life. This Also Includes 3 Free Call Outs If Alarms Beep.
$100+ GST Annually
The Electrical Inspection will be conducted to AS/NZ 3090 standards once every 2 Years, A report generated and sent with images and details of any non compliance & recommendations.
$220+ GST Every Two Years
The Gas Inspections will be conducted once every two years, A report generated and sent with images and details of any non compliance & recommendations. the gas inspection will include all type A gas appliances to be serviced to AS4575 standards.
$270+ GST Every Two Years
Our package is charged once every two years and includes One Electrical Inspection, One Gas Inspection and Two Smoke Alarm Inspections. Conditions Apply
